Who we are . . .

CMR Middelburg is a child and family welfare organization. This Non-Profit Organization has been providing a comprehensive social service to the Middelburg, Belfast and Rietkuil communities in order to empower them socially, emotionally and economically since 1965.

CMR Middelburg renders these services to all communities on all levels, irrespective of race, age, gender or association.

Child Protection

All children should grow up in a loving and safe environment, but the sad reality is that it does not always happen. Babies and children are exposed to the harsh reality of being neglected- not receiving love, food, safe care they need to thrive to become a balanced adult whom can deal with daily challenges.

Child and Youth Care Centres

We have two houses that care for orphaned and vulnerable children who have been removed from the care of their parents or the community while investigations and recommendations are put before the Children’s court.
